Press Event – Introducing Our New Spring-Summer Collection 2020March 9, 2020 • Outdoor Ideas
We ran a press event to launch our new collection and were absolutely thrilled with how it turned out!
The idea behind the event was to give an exclusive preview of our new spring-summer collection to some lovely friends of Muddy Puddles, mums and dads of Instagram and members of the press and their children.
We hosted our guests in the gorgeous Maggie & Rose family club in Islington, London. Maggie & Rose is a lovely nursery and family club offering bespoke activities and classes for little ones.
We were absolutely thrilled with the response and have heard some lovely feedback on our new waterproofs and swimwear. It was so exciting to finally reveal our new collection and share what we have worked on with our guests. We are so happy they liked our new EcoLight jackets and all-in-ones made using recycled fabrics and their bold, ocean-inspired prints. Our spring-summer collection took its inspiration from our passion for the world’s oceans and our planet. Our aim is to help protect the environment by offering sustainable, eco-friendly fashion – this is why the whole collection is made using recycled fabrics.
For the first time, we introduced an exclusive capsule collection of UV protective children’s swimwear. We were over the moon to see that our brand new, UPF 50+ swimwear range attracted so much interest. We can’t wait to see some photos of the little explorers braving their summer adventures in our swimsuits!
We loved having our little guests with us – the lovely Maggie & Rose Team organised fun activities for children to keep them busy. What better than some arts and crafts? Little ones made lovely crafts around the theme of oceans and recycling, which tied in perfectly with our recycled waterproofs and swimwear and the idea of sustainability behind our new collection.
We shared some delicious pastries and snacks – who doesn’t need a little pick-me-up after getting crafty?
Inspired by our brand new prints depicting the ocean, and the animals and nature inhabiting them, we decided to decorate the venue with floating whales, jellyfish and seaweed to give it an ocean-like feel and transport our guests to the underwater world.
(Our lovely designer has spent days making these jellyfish out of recycled material – they turned out to be so popular with the little ones!)
We would all like to say a HUGE thanks to our PR agency who helped us coordinate this event – you are all stars!
Thank you so much to all those who came to our event – we can’t wait for the next one.
