The Haunting Haggerston Park

This Halloween see’s our third series of Muddy Events this year, time flies! We’ve thrown a number of awesome London Muddy Events in 2016 in various locations across the city. From Hampstead Heath, to Spitalfields City Farm to down on the Thames! Each provided a wonderful adventure and we can’t wait for what’s in store next. Broomsticks and pumpkins at the ready, our October Halloween special will take place at the haunting Haggerston Park!

Located nearby the brilliant Hackney City Farm the park stretches for 15 acres and has numerous walkways covered by large looming trees…now deep in autumn we’re hoping for a mist in air for a spooky surrounding. Will you find our shapes or will they find you? There is also an eerie woodland walk with several interesting sculptures to spy on!

As you explore the large open spaces, keep an eye out for spooky shadows lurking in the distance. Be sure to build your nature crown as quick as you can to become the King or Queen of the park, the garden ghouls will soon sneak off into the distance.

With over 200 plants to discover your explorers should have no problem in creating some amazing nature craft. Choose from an array of plants and trees, including a wicked weeping willow. We advise you to collect items from the floor and not to pick from the tree, touch a branch or a leaf – you might never leave the park again…

But if can escape, the park is located conveniently next to Hoxton (Overground) and also Bethnal Green (Central Line) stations, certain to fly you home quicker than any witch on her broomstick! Good luck!

Trick or treat winter warmers…
