The Fantastic Farnham Park!

For our Surrey Halloween special, we are back at the fantastic Farnham Park for some seriously spooky outdoor fun. We are so excited to return to this wonderful green space and can’t wait to spend another fabulous day outside.

Farnham Park

We love green areas which are easy to get and Farnham Park is no expectation! It’s easily accessible for all local adventurers, the southern end of the park lies about 100m north of Castle Street, which makes an easy walk from the centre of town. Perfect!

History behind the area dates back to the Anglo Saxon period and is in fact a medieval deer park. Once seen as a status symbol for medieval royalty, the area would be enclosed capturing deer with high walls to ensure they would not escape.

Farnham Park

However, fast forward to the present day, the landscape which spans 320 acres offers avenues, hidden dells, hills, valleys, ponds and streams. Its position also provides visitors with some fantastic views. Gaze out over the countryside into some of the most spectacular views in Surrey and other surrounding areas… your explorers will love it!

Farnham Park

Farnham Park also proudly possesses a Green Flag status! The Green Flag Award is the benchmark national standard for publicly accessible parks and green spaces in the United Kingdom. The scheme was set up in 1996 to recognise and reward green spaces in England and Wales that met the laid down high standards. What an honour!

It’s such a special venue; we can’t wait to return for some marvellous Muddy fun. The event is now just 10 days away and there are still a few spots available! Register your family for our Halloween shape hunt and craft activities.

Great kit for Halloween adventure fun…
