1) Somerset House Ice Rink, London

2) Royal Pavilion Ice Rink, Brighton

The Royal Pavilion Ice Rink is located next to the gorgeous pavilion built for King George IV. It is perfect for young skaters and their families. Penguin skate aids are available for little skaters 1.2m tall or less and dual blades (bob skates) are available for younger skaters.

3) Eden Project Ice Skating Rink, Bodelva, Cornwall
Saturday 15 October 2022 – Sunday 19 February 2023
How much: adults £8 – £10, children £7 – £8 (plus Eden admission required)
Combine a family ice skating session with a visit to this must-visit Cornwall attraction. Eden Project Ice Skating Rink is perfect for your little skaters. The family fun skate sessions take place on Sunday mornings and are for parents with children (12 and under), including free use of skating aids. Wrap up warm and enjoy the ice!
4) Hampton Court Palace Ice Rink, Surrey

This open-air ice rink is located in front of the palace and you can attend a daytime skate or an evening one when you’ll get to see the palace lit up with multi-coloured lights. 6) The Ice Factor, York

Put your skates on and enjoy a lovely family day out at the North of England’s largest outdoor ice rink which includes a 30ft Christmas tree in the centre. There’s a rinkside cafe for hot drinks and treats and a vintage funfair.

7) Exeter’s Winter Wonderland
When: 17 November 2022 – 2 January 2023

Set in the heart of the city, this is Exeter’s first Winter Wonderland where you can skate in an undercover real ice rink. You’ll have 45 mins to enjoy a skating session with the family and then a chance to visit the other attractions, such as the funfair, the food court and games stalls.
8) Bath on Ice, Bath
When: 12 November 2022 – 3 January 2022
How much: adults £13.50, children £12, family ticket £44
Take to the ice, with 1000 square metres for children to practice their skating skills. You can rent new ‘sled’ skate aids for younger skaters plus there’s Toddler Time sessions on weekday mornings until 10th December between 11.45am – 1pm. After your skating session, grab some food or try a game of Glow Golf, located next to the ice rink.
