As the autumn evenings get chillier, Bonfire Night is just around the corner with loads of firework displays to warm us all up. Wrap up your little adventurers super snug and head to one of the UK’s many bonfire displays to enjoy a show of colours and a lovely family evening out this weekend.

Here are our favourite places to watch the sky explode in colour. Get ready for a whole night of family bonfire fun!

1) Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival, Alexandra Park, London

Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd November

The wonderful Alexandra Palace Firework Festival returns to Alexandra Park for two days of bonfire night fun. Enjoy ice skating, circus acrobatics, funfair and fire performances. The organisers have expanded the Family Area to make sure all the young visitors have fun, too!

The fireworks display starts 7pm on Friday, 6pm on Saturday.

Tickets: £12 adults, £9.50 child

2) The Annual Richmond Family Fireworks Display, Athletic Ground, Richmond, London

Sunday 4th November

The Richmond Athletic Association is planning a spectacular evening of family fun with a choreographed fireworks display, live entertainment prior to the fireworks spectacle as well as funfair rides, mulled wine, hot food, candy floss and popcorn stalls and an after-party. This year the display’s theme is “90’s Music Night”.

Gates will open from 4.30pm, fireworks display starts at 7pm

Tickets: £9 adults, £6 child

3) Guildford Firework Fiesta, Stoke Park, Guildford, Surrey

Saturday 3rd November 

You simply can’t miss the family-friendly Firework Fiesta, a major event in the Guildford calendar. Join the fantastic torchlight procession. The procession leaves Guildford High St. at 7pm with the display at Stoke Park starting at 8pm.

4) Solihull Fireworks, Tudor Grange Park, Solihull

Saturday 3rd November 

Solihull Round Table Fireworks is the largest firework display in Solihull and the event is expected to be absolutely spark-tacular this year! This year’s show will be choreographed to the most famous movie soundtracks. Plus visitors can enjoy a funfair and lots of food stalls with a great variety of yummy foods.

Gates open at 4.30pm, bonfire starts at 6.30pm, fireworks at 7.30pm

Tickets: £6 to £7


5) The Nevill Fireworks, Nevill Road, Hove

Saturday 3rd November 

The display is produced by the award-winning team from Brightfire Pyrotechnics, silver medallists in the 2015 British Musical Firework Championship, and is choreographed to a fantastic musical soundtrack with some very familiar tunes and a few surprises too. Food stalls will be open all evening, and glow sticks and flashing toys will be on sale at stalls inside the grounds.

Gates open at 5pm, firework display starts at 7pm

6) Heaton Park Bonfire and Fireworks display, Heaton Park, Higher Blackley

Monday 5th November 

Heaton Park will be home to one of the biggest Bonfire Night displays in the Manchester region on 5 November. In addition to an epic fireworks display and giant bonfire, a funfair and a host of tasty treats will be on offer for families. The bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm followed by fireworks.

7) Glasgow Green Fireworks, Glasgow, Scotland

Monday 5th November 

Glasgow Fireworks returns to Glasgow Green on Monday 5th November, is free and open to all. Visitors can access the site at Glasgow Green from 5pm and enjoy food and drink stalls and the funfair before the big fireworks display.
