6 Takeaways From Our Instagram Live

Last week our Chief Mudder, Natasha and our Buying Director, Suky went live on our Instagram to talk everything puddle suits! They discussed some of our favourite splash suits and what they are best used for, to help you decide which one is best for you.

Here's a few key takeaways from our Puddle suits Instagram Live:

1) Stirrups over wellies

Remember to always put the trousers and stirrups over your child’s wellies (not inside) to stop any mud or water from getting into the boots and soaking through to the feet. This will ensure children stay dry and comfortable for all day play.

2) Ideal for layering and all-year-round wear

Our EcoSplash puddlesuits come in a range of fun, bold and bright prints. They are breathable and fantastic to wear anytime of the year as you can layer them over other clothes and keep your children at a comfortable temperature according to the season.

3) Perfect for forest school and all day play

If you’re looking for something extremely waterproof, warm and durable, our Puddleflex Insulated All-In-One is the answer. One of our original heritage pieces, this suit has been tweaked and refined over the years to offer absolutely unbeatable protection for all day outdoor play. It's proved to be very popular with forest schools and professional nannies!

4) Great for skiing and camping

Available in three prints, our 3-in-1 Scampsuits combine functionality with beauty. The cosy inner fleece can be zipped off and separated from the durable, waterproof herringbone outer to effectively give you three suits in one – hence the slightly higher price tag. They are ideal for taking skiing or camping.

5) Machine washable

All our puddlesuits are machine washable so they're always ready for the next adventure.... but remember never to use fabric softener as it reduces the effectiveness of the waterproof finish.

6) Planet friendly

We are constantly looking for ways to make our products and our business as planet-friendly as they can be, and are proud to say that our entire AW21 collection of waterproofs is made of recycled fabrics - not just the outer shell but also the lining and padding. Our goal is to use recycled materials for our accessories and footwear too by 2025. ???? Did you miss the Instagram Live and would like to catch up? Here's a link to watch it in full.
